So Good Haad Rin Hostel

The rooms at So Good Haad Rin Hostel are seriously so cozy and comfortable. I mean, they have air conditioning, which is a total lifesaver in the hot weather. Plus, the free WiFi and free bottled water are such a nice bonus!

Honestly, the shared bathroom thing is not really my jam, but I get that some people might be okay with it.

I stayed at So Good for the Full Moon party and it was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful, the dorm beds were spacious and comfortable with privacy curtains, and the whole place was very clean. The location right on the beach was amazing, with a great view. The hostel is also close to the party area, so there's no need for a taxi. I highly recommend this hostel for the Full Moon party or a relaxing stay.

Haad Rin Pier and Raja Ferry Port are definitely worth checking out if you're up for some adventure. The nearby hiking and cycling trails offer breathtaking views of the island, and the fishing spots are perfect for a relaxing day by the water. The location of the hostel is ideal, as it allows easy access to these activities while being away from the noise and crowds. Plus, the comfortable beds and stunning views make it one of the best hostels we've stayed at in Thailand.

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly amenities.

The location was perfect for the Full Moon party, and we had a blast partying all night long. The staff were super cool and helpful, especially when one of us lost their drone. The beds were comfy and had privacy screens, and the view of the beach from our room was epic. The chill-out area overlooking Haad Rin beach was the perfect hangout spot. We also checked out Haad Rin Pier and Raja Ferry Port, which added to our adventure!

The only thing we wished for was more fun activities for young party-goers. While the hostel was great for the Full Moon party, we would have loved to have more options like hiking, cycling, or fishing.

They say this place has a private beach, but it's actually just a fancy name for a patch of sand with some towels. And don't even get me started on the beach volleyball, more like beach mosquito swatting! Such a blast!

Who needs a real private beach when you can have a "private" beach at this hostel? Just make sure to bring your own entertainment and bug spray!

I had an very nice stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, with fine views of the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The hostel was clean and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the delicious food and great coffee. I highly recommend this place for solo travelers looking for a value-for-money stay in Koh Phangan.

The only drawback I noticed was that the prices for beers at the hostel's bar were quite high compared to other places in Thailand. This made it less social and the bar was often empty.

The road leading to the hostel can be difficult to navigate if you're not experienced with scooters.
